HOW to MAKE This SEARCH SERVICE WORK for YOU!!!
Here's what YOU need to do:
1. Become one of our Fabulous Finders by checking the bottom of your child's toy box for lovies other people need!
2. If you still have the lovie that you need help finding a backup or replacement for, please take a photo of it on a contrasting plain background. Daylight is best, rather than flash. All I usually need is a good frontal picture. Sometimes a side view helps, too.
If you can only find one with your child in the photo send it on, and I will edit your child out as best I can.
3. VERY IMPORTANT!! Put the Post Code found at the end of your post in every email you send to me and on every comment you make on the Search Service. Don't worry about it if you forget sometimes - I sure do! But please try to get in the habit.
You will find your Post Code near the end of your post. It looks something like #102508-1.
4. Check often on your own post to see if anyone has left a comment and reply to any comments you have. You can always find your post by searching for your Post Code in quotes using the Search Box on the sidebar.
OPTIONAL FOR COMPUTER LITERATE FOLKS
Check the comment notification box at the bottom of the comment form. If for some reason you're not getting the notification emails, you might try subscribing to the RSS feed of the comments on your post instead.
You can then quickly read any information, answer questions the Fabulous Finders or others might ask, etc, and REPLY to all their comments. They need to know you are keeping up with your post, so they are not wasting their time!!!
We encourage those who are asking for help to Pay It Forward and spend some time looking on the Internet for other people's lovies, too.
If you do find a lovie for someone - please use the Item number in the right sidebar of the listing on eBay, rather than trying to copy / paste the whole address.
We encourage you to use an Internet Search, such as Google or Yahoo, rather than only searching eBay. More and more sellers have left eBay and have moved to smaller auction sites, or they've opened their own web store, so you may be limiting your chances of find your lovie, or anyone else's lovie, if you only search eBay listings.
Whew! That's a lot to digest, but hopefully it spells things out so you know what to do now to help us help you, and many more people, find their lost lovies, backups, replacements, or childhood lovies.

This really isn't the place to ask for help, so I have a copy of your comment and I am deleting it.
